ECU Application Procedure

Please kindly refer to the checklist below for necessary forms/documents applicants are required to include in their application. Please complete all forms and email back to info@apsi.edu.au.

ECU Application Checklist for Students and Education Agents

  • Certified copy of passport
  • Certified copies of all visas and travel history in Australia
  • Letters from Employers
  • Certified copy of your English result (IELTS) which meets the course entry requirement
  • All academic transcripts (in original language and officially translated into English)
    • High school
    • University
    • Any others tertiary or vocational  institutions
  • Statement of Purpose (does not have to be certified)
  • Resume or CV (does not have to be certified)
The following documents are required to be submitted to APSI admissions office for all packaged offer applications:
If you have a partner accompanying you or is already in Australia, please supply copies of:
  • Partner’s passport information page
  • Academic documents
  • Proof of residency or visa details
  • Marriage Certificate / change of name for applicant if different

Additional Checklist for Onshore Applications

Please be kindly advised that onshore applications require for following in addition to ECU standard application documents:
  • Evidence of Australian address;
  • Evidence of current visa (if unable to verify on VEVO with passport details);
  • Visa Cancellation Notice (if applicant has had a visa cancelled and is on a bridging visa for example);
  • Official Transcripts for Australian studies (used to verify academic progress);
  • CoEs for current/all Australian studies (particularly important when applicant has been onshore for a long time and has changed provider multiple times – CoEs are used to determine academic progression and verify visa compliance);
  • Explanations for any gaps noted in study whilst onshore (particularly important when current visa is close to expiring and where ECU may have visa compliance concerns ongoing); and
  • Confirmation of what visa applicant intends to apply for (if currently on Bridging Visa for example).

ECU English language requirements for international students can be found here. ECU minimum English competency requirements can change, depending on the specific course students are interested in, and whether it is an undergraduate or postgraduate course.
